FAQ

I am buying tickets as a gift for a friend/friends and I would like to present the tickets to them. Is this possible?
Yes. We are mostly organising tickets to be collected at the door on the night of each performance, but please tell us if you are buying tickets as gifts so we can print them accordingly. Simply email us here, with details, once you have completed your purchase and received confirmation, and we will arrange for them to be despatched.

Can I choose where I sit?
No. Seats at the Phoenix Theatre are unnumbered. Because of the layout of the seating, everybody gets a good view, but doors will open at 6.30pm (an hour before each performance begins) if you want to arrive early and reserve your seats on the night.

How many tickets do you have available?
The theatre holds a maximum of 220 and the show will be performed on three consecutive nights, so that's a total of just 660. Bearing in mind that the original performance of The Hammerman (at STEAM in November 2010) played to more than 1,000 people and that this new production is being staged by popular demand, we strongly advise booking early.

I didn't know they had a theatre at New College!
The Phoenix Theatre is a fully equipped modern theatre (pictured right), which includes a large proportion of tiered seats, so everybody gets a good view.

Do you have tickets available for disabled patrons?
Yes, as long as we still have some tickets available, they are £15 each. For information about tickets for carers, please email us or phone 07814 254269.

Does the venue have full disabled access?
Yes. The auditorium is reached from the ground floor and disabled patrons and their helper/friend will be seated at the front.

Are tickets refundable?
We are very sorry, but we are unable to refund any money paid for any tickets.

Will I have to pay to park?
No. The venue has ample free parking.

How do I find the venue?
Follow this link to New College's website for full details.

What if I have other queries?
Feel free to email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
